Very proud to announce that MTHC boss (and my husband), Matt Taylor, has been accepted as a WaterSafe accredited contractor. Is this big news? We think it is.
For those of you who may not have heard of the scheme, WaterSafe is a free online directory of approved and qualified plumbers in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
It brings together thousands of heating engineers from seven existing Approved Contractors’ Schemes across the UK, including the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) and the Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors (APHC).
It means that customers can be confident that they are receiving the very best service and advice from an elite group of heating professionals. It also removes the risk of drinking water being contaminated by poor plumbing practices or sub-standard products.
Becoming an accredited contractor is by no means a formality. Plumbers accepted into the scheme have to undergo specialist training to ensure they meet strict legal requirements. Only those who successfully complete it can proudly display the WaterSafe badge.
Becoming an approved WaterSafe contractor is just one more way that we are working hard to become the go-to choice for both domestic and commercial customers around the UK.
So, well done again Matt from everyone at MTHC!
